My kids laptop had 98 on it. they took my XP Home CD &
tried to install it. now I have 2 partials OP Systems on
the computer. It will not allow me to reinstall the old
windows. When I turn it on it asked me to chose the
operating system. the XP is only partialy installed
because the was only 64 meg of space. when I choose the
Windows 98 I says that there are corupt files. I want to
remove everyhing & reinstall the old 98.
Please help

Use your Win 98 startup diskette to FDISK and format the laptop, then
re-install Win 98.. and remember that your copy of XP Home can be installed
on only ONE computer..

How to Use the Fdisk Tool and the Format Tool to Partition
or Repartition a Hard Disk

1. Delete the Windows XP partition.
2. Create a new partition.
3. Format the new partition FAT32.
4. Install your desired Operating System.
