removing "tags"

When I mouse over a spot, or section, annoying tags of the titles pop up,
and stay there. This blocks other writing, causing me to have to make
another mouse movement or 2. Happens a lot in newsgroups. How can I shut
this off?
 
Under Tools | Options | Read, uncheck the show Tool Tips box and see if that
helps. I think that unchecking it doesn't have any effect however (another
bug).

Seemed to work- I'll keep an eye on it, thanks for the tip.
