removing & reinstalling XP

I am having some SERIOUS issues with hardware ( All-in-one type hardware) AFTER i installed XP. SO now I have NO printers OR scanners! I've tried to use the uninstall tools to take out the prgrams for my Xerox WorkCentre XK35c & my Brother MFC3100C - forget it. I've tried to REINSTALL those same programs - and got told that I needed to use another version of windows! HELP! So can I uninstall xp - take those programs out - then reinstall xp and TRY to reinstall those programs?

When you go to reinstall the drivers and software, ensure it is all
compatible with Windows XP and you are using the latest Windows XP
drivers.
