Eudora is set up on my office computer and I am attempting to copy a large amount of text from an email to a Word document. When I do say, all the ' > ' marks which indiate that part of the text has been 'quoted' also come across. Is there an easy way to delete these > marks

This can be done in Word, but is fiddly. On the other hand there is a
freeware utility 'stripmail' linked from the downloads page of my web site
that makes this a two click operation, so simple that it is not worth
bothering Word until the job is done.
