Removing people from group email when sending email.

I thought this might be a useful feature in Outlook. I can set up a group in
Outlook to send to a group of people. For example, lets suppose I have a
group profile called Friends which has twenty people on it. What I'd like to
able to do is email that group but removing a certain individual. For
example, suppose Bob is on my Friends list and I am collecting donations for
a birthday gift for him. I'd like to send the email out to everyone on that
list except Bob. Currently, I either have to set up a new list or add people
individually. What I'd like to be able to do is send to the group Friends
but have the option to remove an individual. This would be particularly
useful when chasing replies from a group of people where some people have
replied and others have not and where you did not want to send a reminder
email to people who had responded.

I am using Outlook 2002 (10.4219.4219) SP-2.

I don't believe Outlook 2002 can do this, but OL 2003 can. After putting
the DL in the address field, you can click a small plus sign next to it and
have Outlook expand the list, allowing you to remove individual addresses.
