Hi all,

When I remove the spy parsites Golden Retriever and Shop
at Home from my Windows Registry using the Spyware
program Spyhunter, I get a page unavailable error when I
try to connect IE6 to the internet. Other browsers
continue to work and pinging tells me that my internet
connection is OK (comcast broadband). How can I remove
the parasites without messing up IE6?

thanks,
Ed Conde

Thanks Don,

I will give it a try!

Ed

Ed,
I'm sorry that you paid for Spyhunter. The best programs of this type are
free.

For your page unavailable error, try LSPFix from
http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm

For adware/spyware removal, try Ad-aware and Spybot.

See Dealing with Unwanted Spyware and Parasites:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm for additional information.

Post back if you need additional help.
