How do you remove the OS menu DOS choice with it the
computer first starts up?? I hate to keep picking Windows
2000 Professional or wait 20 seconds in order for it to
startup!!
Please help me if someone knows how to fix it!!!

Control Panel > System > Advanced [tab] > Startup and Recovery [button]. In the
System Startup section, select the configuration that boots properly from the
drop down list.

Uncheck "Display list of operating systems.....". Click on OK till you're out.

Then spring clean and remove the other/faulty/unneeded install

in the boot.ini file put this [Any Text] above the entries and they will not
be listed.

Ozone

The OP may have been referring to the second choice being the Recovery Console.
I have mine set up this way, but with only an 8 second count-down. No need to
clean up anything, if that's the case.
