Removing old programs

The files and documents folder is desifnated as read only
and I cannnot remove old programs. Even though I am
logged on as an administrator, I cannot change the file
rights. This is a stand alone computer. Am I missing
something? Thanks

Hi Bill,

did you try by going to Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs -> select the
program, that you would like to remove and click Change/Remove button?
