I am moving an XP pro PC from one network group to another. I am having a
problem removing the original network from the Microsoft Networks Tree in
Explorer. Can anyone help with this as this PC will not longer be a part of
the original network nor have any access to the original network?

There is no need to manually remove auto-discovered workgroups from the
network neighborhood display as they will generally go away on their own
within a short period of time. Shortcuts you've created may have to be
manually deleted, though.
