Have removed a program due to a change in printers etc.

I have removed all ex programs and the icon still shows in task bar beside the clock.

Can anyone advise how I can remove this icon, that relates to nothing anymore.

its a icon "canoscan D660u utility"

Thanks

Hi,

This means that it is still checked under msconfig and in the runkeys.

Go to Start/Run and type in: msconfig. Go to the Startup Tab and uncheck
accordingly. Then run this script to remove the disabled items from the
registry.

Clear Disabled Items from Msconfig Startup (Line 148)

Or...remove the runkeys from here: Start/Run/Regedit
