If you delete blank cells (not rows), you risk damaging the data. For
example if you have a block of data, and one of the rows contains a
blank cell, and you try to delete that cell, the cells will either
shift up or left/right, making all of the cells below or to the left/
right shift out of place with the rest of the data.
