REMOVING ECHO

For about two weeks now every single sound that comes out
of my computer has an echo. I want it off but cannot
figure it out. It got on there when i was recording a
sound and i added an echo to the file. HELP ME PLEASE!
ITS DRIVING MY INSANE.

Hi Mike

I had the exact same problem with my Creativelabs Live! card.
It seems that the built-in effects on the soundcard locked up after a
gamecrash.
What I did to solve it was reinstall the Creativelabs drivers that prolly
did a reset on the soundcards built-in effects.
