I have WinXp Home (Deutsch) Installed. I thought I had a
Problem with some of my system files. I have a Windows XP
Recovery Cd, I entered the Cd With first boot device as
Cd/dvd Rom. Well when I got into the setup the Setup
screen showed nothing but a Blue screen with the Header
as Windows Xp Home Edition, it never showed ne kind of
repair, Format or ne other option but just a Blue screen
with Window xp HOme Edition header.

Well then I restarted my PC n ran the setup
from the My computer Option. Well it asked me to Install
new Windows n Upgrade Windows. When I clicked n proceeded
with upgrade windows option, the PC restarted after
sometime n then it showed me that the windows is being
installed in a black screen, but nothing happened. So I
removed the Cd n restarted Pc again and saw 2 Booting
options 'Windows Xp Home Edition' N 'Windows Setup'.

I tried to enter cd again n cancel the window
setup by pressing F3 when it asked me to continue window
without updating it.

But I still have the option named Windows Setup
when I boot up also it only remains for 3 seconds and
continues the same problem of the Black screen . I also
tried to find my Boot.ini but couldnt find it....

Please solve this problem of mine. I wanna get
rid of the Window setup option on my boot up.

Thanks You.

You will need to continue with the setup/upgrade porcess.
Once that has been finished you should no longer see the
Windows Setup Option.
Have you tried this and it just hangs?

Ya Phil I have Tried this well the problem still exists.
Well I tried to continue the program but but see I get
this Black screen which has a Loding bar at the
bottom 'Windows is Starting' and it never progresses. I
mean I have this original Product recovery Cd but I dont
think its working properly. I even tried to insert my
Winxp Professional cd but same thing. Well it also doesnt
continue.:(

Is their ne registry I shud Delete to get rid of
this problem:(. My pC is functioning well I just need
this problem to be solved.
