I realize one can move Messenger contacts to
the "blocked" list, but is there any way to remove them
from the program entirely?

Hello,

In MSN messenger6, just right click on the contact you wish to remove and
click delete contact, you will be given the oppurtunity to also block the
contact from seeing your online status. (I am unsure about earlier versions
but I am guessing its much the same). Please let me know if I am wrong on
that.

In Windows Messenger its the same (right click on the contact) but you wont
be given to option of blocking that person from seeing your online status.

Good Luck,
MdB

THATS what i want to know???

did you get any response to that?????

i'm desperate to remove someone from my block list so
other people won't see it!

Thanks Dolly (hope i'm doing this right) my first
time.....i don't even know if this is going to you
directly or not......

anyone who knows the answer to this question please email
me......

Correct me if I'm wrong but... If you create a new Microsoft Passport,
and delete your old Passport from Control Panel/user accounts, and then
sign on with your new passport, won't all of your old contacts "disappear"?
Because they don't exist in your new account? Doesn't that remove them
from the program permanently? Bob
