Removing company information from MS Word

Hello all!!!

If I open a document and then File/Properties I will see the Company
information. How can I eliminate that information so that it will
never appear again in my docs?

For Word 97 and earlier, you will have to reinstall and omit the company
name.

You can also prevent the document properties from picking up company and
author information automatically by populating them with a space instead.
 
ISTR that this doesn't work for company, though.
