Hi I have noticed an option that has automatically (or
unknowingly) installed itself as "tools -> erotic" The
option takes you to disgusting site. I would like to know
how I can remove this option and prevent it happening
again.

Comment: this has installed itself on my sons PC who is
ten years old. Microsoft should have an inbuilt option to
remove this I.e. right click remove etc

Thanks and regards to all

I had exactly the same problem (using broadband at home
without a firewall).
Use the Toolbarcop suggested by this guy, works in minutes.

Ian,

Download Toolbarcop and remove the menu-entries:

If the entries are added without your knowledge, it may be
due to parasites! Download all of these utilities and scan
the system.

Download and start the application, look at the Internet
Explorer Toolbar Buttons section, click on each line in
turn under the All Users heading, the button text will be
highlighted in blue underneath, then simply hit delete.

It took me just 2 minutes.
