Jacki

Somehow a web site has embedded itself on my desktop. It
is a search engine called jetseeker. When I go their
home page it gives me no information about how to contact
them or how to get rid of their window.

Currently, on the top right corner of my desktop is a
small window that has a blank to fill in the topic you
want to search, a "go" button and a magnifying glass.

I did not put this on my desktop and cannot remove it
using any of the steps to remove icons.

Help me please!

Jacki

Hi Jacki,

Right click your Desktop/Properties/Desktop/Customize Desktop/Web

If that doesn't help: Check your Desktop Folder: Start/Run/desktop or
Start/
Run/Regedit

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Current
Version\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace
