My workstation was recently infected witha virus, and I
created a restore point before I realized it. Now my
virus scanner keeps finding the virus in the restore
information. How do I clean it?

Go to system tools and click on system restore. You will
find an area checked under general tab. disable restore
points by unchecking. the problem with this is that you
won't have any restore points after this, but your system
will be clean. you will need to run the blaster fix angain
and then go back and enable system restore again. Hope
this helps.

Greetings --

To clear viruses from the "System Volume Information," simply turn
off the System Restore feature (Start > All Programs > Accessories >
System Tools > System Restore, System Restore Settings), reboot, and
then re-enable System Restore, if you like. This will delete all of
your Restore Points, including the corrupted one(s), and allow you
start with a clean slate.
