Hi,

I have Office XP installed on a system, that when you
start Outlook prompts you to select a profile to open
(there are two profiles), and I would like to remove this
so that it opens straight to one of the profiles. This
machine was shared for a while, but isn't now, and I want
to remove one of them. I removed the account for the one
I wanted to go away, but it still comes up to select the
profile you want when it starts, and I can't find where
to turn this off. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Mike

If you go to Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles, is there not an option
there to prompt for a profile?

Russ,

I believe that is what I was looking for. The machine is
running Win98, and there was a mail option and I could
select to "always use this profile". We will see how it
works. No wonder I couldn't find it, I was looking
within outlook for it, not in control panel. Thanks,
Mike

That's because that's where it was in earlier versions.
