You can't, not really. This is Usenet, not a messageboard. Just be
patient with your new post and wait at least 24 hours before posting
again. BTW, I just answered another post of yours so maybe you just
didn't wait long enough with the first one. People who help here are
volunteers who live all over the world and some of whom may even have
Real Lives(tm). So just be patient.

Here is information about Usenet so you have a better understanding of
this excellent resource:

Since you are using the web interface, you may not realize that this is
really a newsgroup. You will get far more out of this resource if you
learn to use a newsreader. There are many good newsreaders for Windows,
but you can use Outlook Express since you already have it. Here are
some links to information about newsgroups:

In general you can not. You may think you've posted to a Microsoft web page,
but that is only a web interface to a newsgroup. Although the particular
newsgroup is on a server hosted by Microsoft, it is also echoed to hundreds
or thousands of other news servers all over the world, and that propagation
happens very quickly. Even if you could delete your message from the
Microsoft Server, it would have no effect on the many other servers it had
already reached.

By the way, you could immeasurily improve your newsgroup experience if you
would stop using the web interface to read this newsgroup--it's the slowest,
clunkiest, most error-prone method there is. Do yourself a favor and switch
to a newsreader, such as Outlook Express, which comes with Windows. See

You can add but not take away ie you can make comments to your own posting -
and indeed even if you manage to solve your own problem you are advised to
inform us - others can learn from what you did - and it is also nice to get
a response if one has tried to help - even if it isn't quite what you were
looking for.
