How can I remove windows xp? I have the installation CD which my manufacter
included with the computer so there should not be any reason why I could not
remove it and then install it again to totally clean up my pc.
What are the steps to follow to remove xp please?
thank you...

As long as there are no data or program files you need in the c:\windows
directory, boot up in DOS (from a DOS floppy), and then do this :-

deltree/y c:\windows

Then boot up from the XP CD.

Just boot from the CD and you will have the option to format the drive
before reinstalling XP.

Simply boot from the WinXP installation CD. You'll be offered the
opportunity to delete, create, and format partitions as part of the
installation process. (You may need to re-arrange the order of boot
devices in the PC's BIOS to boot from the CD.)
