I added Windows 2000 Pro to a PC that already had Win NT
workstation. since Win2000 is running fine, I want to
remove Win NT, but can't find anything in MS KB to direct
me. I'm concerned that these two OS may share some files
and I could lose something by deleting a Win NT folder.
Maybe the boot.ini also needs modification ??

It dpends. If they are installed on the same partition then yup removing Windows NT will kill your Windows 2000. Whether it can be recovered is another question. If they are on seperate partitons all you meed to do is remove the entry for Windows NT in boot.ini and set the time to 0 before the default operating system is invoked. Always make a copy first. After that is all said and done reformat the drive the Windows NT is on. Actually if you do this without touching the boot.ini Windows 2000 will do it for you.
