remove win 98 from dual boot with Xppro

can anyone tell me how i can safley remove windows 98
from a dual boot with with xp pro. I can see the boot.ini
and edit it but lines read multi what should i change
this to.

here is a copy of the Boot.ini setteings

[boot loader]
timeout=40
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft
Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect
C:\ = "Microsoft Windows 98"
