Hi there,

So, the unwanted window is the "Please wait..." window with Window Embedded
image that, at the beginning (before the logon), says:

- Loading computer settings...
- Loading your personal settings...

....and when I press the shut down button says:

- Saving your settings...
- Windows is shutting down...

It does appears with the automatic logon too. Can I remove this window?

Sincerely,

Try changing DisableStatusMessages reg.value.

WOW!!! I'm sure that this is what I'm looking for!!!! Thanx! Thanx! Thanx!

Well.. If I recall correctly, there are some logon/shutdown progress screens you wont be able to turn off with Winlogon. You will
have to test it on your runtime with the DisableStatusMessages value.
Only Minlogon will allow you to get rid of all of them.
Dear KM, what component I have to add to edit the registry at run-time?

"Registry Editor"?

KM

"Registry Editor"?

Thank you my friend, unfortunately I'm a beginner in XPE! ;)

Then if not already you should bookmark following link:

This is achive for this NG from the beggining and you can search for all your questions first. In most cases it is much faster to
type few words and to see what google will find then to write question and wait for an answer. (I'm saying this to save you some
time, since we all use google AFAIK :-) )
