Remove the hypens from a social security number

I just want to display the numbers without hypens, is there a formula?

=left(A1,3)&mid(A1,5,2)&right(A1,4)

where the number is in cell A1

If they are numbers formatted as SSN then just use

000000000

custom format, if they are text then just press ctrl + h and replace - with
nothing
