Remove SP2 update before installing

My windows update setting is "download, but ask permission to install", and
I like it that way.

Only problem is it downloaded SP2, but I took advantage of Microsoft's offer
and received the update on the free CD.

I am not ready to update, because I want to do all the recommended things
beforehand, i.e, remove spyware, defrag, etc., etc. And I don't know when
I'll get around to it, but when I do, I plan on using the CD.

Is there a way to removed the download without installing it?

Google is your friend. Go here: http://tinyurl.com/6bm4h

Of course. If you know the name of the file it was downloaded into, just
search for that file and delete it. If you don't know the name, look for a
very large file and investigate it. (about 272 megabytes)
