Remove Programs - Programs not listed on Add/ Remove list

I want to remove a common program (programs re my brother
printer. I went the standard route - Control Panel to
Add/Remove Programs - however the programs for the
printer (none of the Brother programs) are listed in the
program list. They are definitely in my computer as I
use the printer all the time - I need to remove them to
download from Brother some corrected programs which will
make my MFC operate correctly. I noticed other programs
that are not listed such as Norton - I do not want to
change or remove Norton but it is not there. What do I
do to get the Brother programs on the list. Please cc
the answer to (e-mail address removed). Many thanks.

Try looking in the folder where the Brother programs {I assume you are not
referring to the printer drivers} for a uninstall program.
If you are referring to the printer drivers, uninstall the printer from
Control Panel Printers.
