How do I remove bad or corrupted programs from the "start
menu" (i.e. those you see when you "run" msconfig)?

I have several that won't "remove" by using
the "InstallShield" - it tells me that InstallShield has
encountered a problem and must shut down.

Kazaa is the main one I'm trying to remove - that an it's
associated "marketing" programs. Thanks

Hi,
The best you can do: reinstall the stubborn programs in
the same directories where they are, and try to uninstall
them again.
It's possible some programs won't go this way, then
simply delete them and remove all registry entries
manually - I know, it's a bone job - I've experienced it
myself. By the way, do gaining a good UnInstaller e.g.
"Ashampoo UnInstaller Suite" is a good one, for your
future in- and uninstalligs. This will help you to keep
your system clean.
