I implemented some group policies a while back. Now the IT group from another
plant implemented some new changes. Their new changes allow what I had taken
away, but my policy is still active. They applied files and settings through
the migration tool and now I do not have privileges to edit the policy.

Is there a registry key I can edit to remove my old policy?

Do you mean that the Group Policy settings they have configured are not
applying?? You can run rsop.msc to see what settings are being applied and
from what Group Policy. What error message do you get?? If you have access
to Active Directory Users and Computers you could try giving yourself deny
permissions for the Group Policy applying the settings that are causing the
problem assuming they are for user configuration or creating a new Group
Policy to override the settings restricting you. The link below may also be
of help. --- Steve
