Remove from registry?

I have had an unwelcome "remimder" window popping up for
2 days. I finally found that the reminder is for HP's
Easy Internet Signup (HP must think that since the
computer is a month old that I need to use the
internet)...I want the reminder and Easy Int. Acces gone.
But...I can't remove it via remove software...I click to
remove...it acts like its going...pops back up. Can I
delete the "easy internet access" in HP in the registry
without creating more problems?

Click Start, Run and enter MSCONFIG Go to the Startup tab and look for
anything that might be this program. Uncheck it and click Apply. Reboot
or log off/logon and see if it still loads.
