Hi,

I want to delete all my contacts and re-add them again.
I've problem to remove them via the program. Is there
anything in the registry to delete them? I be very glad if
the one who reply this messege can also send me an email.

Thanks.

Greetings Fredrik,

Your contact list is stored on the Messenger servers, as such, although here is a "cache" of
your contacts stored within the registry, you can't actually affect your real contact list
outside of Messenger (or issuing the server commands directly).

As such, the only real way to remove them is to right-click the contact and choose Delete --
since you said there's a problem with this, you're going to have to be more specific to what
that problem is.

I have the same problem as the owner Michael Tissington of
the post Mar 8 2004 6:08PM

I have only the errormessage in swedish, but the point of
it is; Couldn't remove <contactname>. Try again later.

Some contacts I can remove some not. At my work we are
behind a firewall and when I try to delete a contact I get
the errormessage and get automaticly signed-out from
Messenger. But at home I only get the errormessage.

Best regards

Fredrik
