Removable harddrive accessing problem.

I took out my old harddrive from my old computer and installed it as a
removable one on my new comp. When I open the drive some of the folders tell
me that the folder is not accessible "access is denied". Is this because I
had a login password on the OS on the old harddrive? Anyone know how I could
access these files?
Please help!!

Thanks for your help Steve but it still didn't work. Each subfolder keeps
telling me the same thing and the Take Ownership" option isn't even there.
