When I open Windows Explorer, the folder tree shows that I have four
Removable Disk--H, I, J, & K, when in fact I have none. How to I correct

Does your computer have a multi-slot card reader by any chance? (for
cards like compactflash, memory stick, etc.)

Does your computer have a built-in card reader? How about a
printer with 4 slots in the front? If so, then that would
account for those drive letters showing up in Windows Explorer.

Yes it does. It looks like there are three slots and a USB port next to
them.

What you're seeing is those drives. To change what you see, you need
admin rights on your computer. From there, you can right-click on the
My Computer icon on the desktop and select Manager. Scroll down to
"Disk Management" under the Storage tree, and you will see a list of
all disks on the right. You can scroll that list until you see the
one(s) that offend you, and right-click on it, selecting "Change Drive
Letter and Paths". The rest will be obvious.
