Remotely control printers?

Hi,

Does anybody know of a way that you can remotely control the
online/offline status of a printer? The printer in question is on a
Microsoft XP/2000 network and is shared. Even if there's a cool command
line utility to do it, that would be something!!!

Of course, I'm thinking "no" at the moment, just because the
offline/online option isn't available with a network printer for some
reason (standard right click menu on network printer.)

Any ideas!!?

Thanks!

Don't worry, I was just being impatient. If you wait for a while and
keep opening up the printer, to look at the print jobs, eventually
you'll get the option to put it back online again.

Sorry for the dumb post!!
