How will you establish a remove connection to the machine if it won't boot
at all?

I have a box to which i don't have physical access, running winxp.
I tried resizing partition using Partition Magic and something must've gone
wrong because now the box won't boot at all. It gets almost to the point
where desktop appears and then the box reboots. Last Known Configuration
doesn't help. Nor do Safe Modes. I'm wondering if there is anything else i
can do without reinstalling this box. If not then how can I install winxp
on the machine remotely. It's not part of the domain so I guess RIS is out
of question. For linux boxes I just use tftpd and ftp to install but for
Windows I also need to provide RAID drivers(which linux autodetects). Just
read something about winPE, but not sure if it's relevant in this
situation.

thanks for any suggestions.

Partition Magic has always be known to be problematic as it will force
Windows into a "pre-boot" environment. During Partition Magic's
install process, you are normally requested to create the "Emergency
Boot" CD / disks. These are to be used when "this type" of problem
occurs. Now, it seems you need to be at the problematic PC in order
to fix this.
