I'm trying to run TS Client from a Laptop to manage 4
servers. All was fine for the longest time. Now when ever
I connect to any of the 4 servers, the server reboots
immediately. I uninstalled and then reinstalled anything
having to do with TS hoping that it just hickuped somehow
but to no avail.
Has anyone run into this before? I'm baffled right now...
Thanks...

Which OS and SP are you running on the TS and the client?
Have you checked the EventLog for the STOP code?
Have you tried to configure the system to *not* automatically reboot
on a STOP error? This will make the server halt at the Blue Screen of
Death, Please post the info from the first 4 lines of the BSOD.

If the server really reboots without showing a BSOD *even after you
have configured it to halt at a STOP error*, then the cause is nearly
always a hardware failure. Run all the hardware diagnostics software
that came with your server.

Vera,
OS is W2K Server w/SP3. Client is W2K Pro SP3. Event logs
give no indication of a problem.
Not sure how to configure the server on how to get it to
not automatically reboot on a Stop event. The servers in
question (all of which reboot upon on an attempt to
connect from the TS Client Workstation) are used heavily
by the command and I'm not able at this point to Blue
Screen one. When I can I will though and send you the
info.
Pretty sure it's not hardware because all servers react
the same way. 4 servers.
How Do You set the server to Not reboot on a stop Error?
Thanks for your help and I'll get back with you for
further developement... Herman

Go to Control Panel - System - Advanced - Start and Recovery
options (or very similar wording)
OK, sorry, I missed the 4 server part of your post. No, that
exclueds hardware failure.
Even without knowing the STOP error, the next likely cause would
be a faulty driver or service. Installed any 3th party printer
drivers lately? Running any anti-virus programs?
If so, can you disable those and test again?
