Remote Profiles on XP?

I have a small home network using XP Pro computers. I'd like everyone to
have only one "My Documents" folder, one "Favorites", etc., no matter which
computer they're using at the moment. I have a machine that runs all the
time to use as a server, and I have redirected "My Documents" for each user
to their respective "My Documents" folders on it. So far so good. But I
can't figure out how to redirect "Favorites". Any ideas much appreciated.

For similar reasons, I'd love to get all the versions of Outlook (not
express) to use a single .pst file. If anyone has an answer to that short
of exchange server or one of the paid online services, I'd love to know
about that too.

Thanks,
Joel

Download and install Tweak UI from here:

Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP

Then, run Tweak UI and go to My Computer | Special Folders.

I'd like to know that answer, too. I'll be watching with interest.
Thanks,

You can also create profile server on your 'server.' Configure a profile
path on each user account to point the server in local users and groups.
Use the following syntax: \\servername\profiles\%username%

On my computer the pst files are located under
C:\Documents and Settings\Wayne\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook. There are
archive.pst, outlook.pst and other pst files. I have a
Hotmail pst file. Why not move the files to a network
share location and have all your pst files located there?
The data file locations can be modified by clicking
Tools, Options, Mail Setup, Data Files. This information
can also be located under File, Data File Management from
Outlook. Enjoy your day.

Because .pst files cannot be opened from more than one place at a time. It
may seem a small thing, but I don't want to have to go log off of Outlook at
one computer in order to open it on another.

There does seem to be one shareware company who has solved this problem in
an architecturally elegant way, but it's a one-man shop in Germany,. so the
support is poor. I installed it and couldn't get it to work properly,
although it appears that many others have had success. If we could get some
peer support going over here, it might be a viable solution. Check it out:
