David

As soon as my XP Home Edition boots up and reaches the
desktop, a popup appeares which says the system is shuting
down and I should save any data " NT Authority\System"
and that it is due to an unexpected early termination of
a " Remote Procedure Call RPC Service Termination.Svc "
It counts down 60 seconds and reboots the computer and
does it all over again.
How do I fix that ?

Thanks David.

Do a quick an simple search of the forum and you will find that you and
many others have been violated by the "blaster"

Yi;
After all these weeks:
---------------------
System is WORM INFECTED by a "swen" or "blaster" type.
Stop the countdown asap when you get the 60 seconds by going to "Start" then
"Run" and typing
"shutdown -a".
BUT ===> No "brackets" in there please.
Press [Enter] to stop the countdown.
