Remote Procedure call

Every time we log on we get the message "Remote Procedure
call terminated unexpectedly," and that the system will
shut itself down in 60 seconds. Then there is something
that says NT Authority\system. What can I do to stop this
and get back on my computer. This just started
yesterday. It looks like a lot of people are having the
same problem. Please respond ASAP.
 
Thanks. I too had the same problem from yesterday.

My problem is that it doesn't take very long for the
shutdown to happen. I don't get enough time to go on to
the internet, download the patch and apply it. How do I
fix the system quickly before it dies on me?
