I have recently been getting an error message when
connected to the internet saying that the windows NT
system/authority has initiated a shutdown of the computer
because the remote procedure call terminated. The
computer gives me 60 seconds to save what I am doing
before shutting down and restarting. I am running Windows
XP and MSN internet software.
What gives? Is there an easy fix? This started about a
week ago. Recently, it happens too quickly (within about
5 minutes of connecting to the internet via my dialup
modem) to download updates from the microsoft site.
Thoughts? It is all very frustrating.
THANKS!
