My computer is 10 months old. When I am on line this
message box pops up "Remote Procedure Call Service
Shutdown" and re-boots my computer after 60 seconds. The
message inside the box says that the RPC Service was
terminated unexpectedly. I don't know what this means, and
I don't know how to fix it.

I am not real computer literate, and I have to be told very
exactly how to do thing. I am running windows XP, I have
60 gig of hard drive and Pentium IV. I have to use my
wifes computer to do any internet work.

Thanking you in advance

Right I have posted all the info on my website, and the link to Symantec. It
seems like a worm is responsible for this RPC vulnerability, and RPC fix,
and removal instructions are on my website.

There you will find the type of RPC error that has been going around very
rapidly at the moment, and the link to Symantec which has fixes.

Hope this helps;
Matt
