I have a sony computer in my network that i can access from mij own Dell
computer. it's in the same workgroup. The problem is that it's impossible for
the sony computer to access the shared docs or the printer on the Dell
computer.
Who can help me to solve this problem?

First, check for a firewall, misconfigured or overlooked, interfering with file
sharing.

Next, consider a browser conflict, which frequently cause this asymmetrical
access problem. Check for a browser conflict using browstat. Instructions for
getting, and using, browstat are in this article:

If no help yet, provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from both
computers, and we'll try and diagnose the problem.
