When I click on the remote desktop connection icon, I have a prompt asking
which computer to connect to, with a drop down arrow. If I click the drop
down arrow, there are a number of IP addresses of workstations I've
connected to that are no longer needed.

Is there a way to purge them from the list?

Thank you

Hi Joseph,
To remove any enteries from remote desktop go to this link,
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=3112169.
or go to the Registry and look for;
HKEY_current_User\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server Client\ Default.
enteries will appears as MRU number and visible in the right pane, Delete

Hope this Helps.

Thanks for the registry fix.

In terms of the knowledge base article, do you have the correct one listed
below. Clicking the url says page not found. I thought it was due to the
period at the end of the link and did a cut and paste, same thing. Also
tried a manual search in the knowledge base and got There are no documents
that match your search for "3112169"
