Remote Desktop Intermittence

I used Remote Desktop (not Remote Assistance) in order to remote WinXP Pro Machine. In Perodua, we had 42 Branch Network with 500 desktop PC Nationwide and 2000 Desktop PC in the HQ. Each Branch connected with 64 kbps WAN. When I used Remote Desktop, some Branch is working fine BUT some Branch it is always intermittence. Any suggestion guys?
