Remote Desktop Disconnected

Hi

I have 3 load balanced Servers and a Session Directory Server. The session directory server is also our licence server which is issuing licences per machine rather than per user. We currently have around 300 people connecting to these servers joining from windows 95, 98, nt and 2000 clients and so far we have had no problems

We are now looking to rollout Windows XP Embedded as the main client machine. The build for this has gone fine and we are quite happy with how this works, however when we try and attach to our servers we get the error

"Remote Desktop Disconnected" "A licensing error occurred while the client was attempting to connect. (Licensing timed out.) Please try connecting to the remote computer again."

If I logon to the same machine with an administrative account then I connect without any problems and when I look on the licence server I can see that a valid licence has been issued to the machine. This also happens on our 2000 clients as well but once we have logged on to the servers with the administrator account and then logon with a normal user account everything works fine. However with Embedded XP it will connect as an administrator but not with a normal user account
 
Is an administrator account in your Image?

admin rights somewhere. I granted the standard user local admin rights on
the embedded xp machine and it works fine. Remove the admin rights and I
get the error again and it won't connect.
 
Petey,
You might try opening up the System Properties in the control panel and then
selecting the Remote tab. There is a check box to allow remote users to
connect to the device. Check the box and then add the user account.

I am trying to make outgoing connections from my embedded xp box. I tried what you suggested anyway, but unfortunatley it didn't work. Thanks for your reply though.
