Hi there .

I'm wanting to know how I can change or specify a
different port to use for Remote Desktop.
I need to know this as there are the people connection to
the same IP address but then going to two different PC's
once through.

I have tried 111.111.111.111:1000 but that didn't work.

Can anyone please help me.

Many thanks in advance.

Your phrasing is confusing.

Are you asking how to use Windows Terminal Services to connect to (Remote
Control) a Windows XP computer through a NAT/Router device? Such as someone
has a Cable Modem or DSL connection at home, and to split the single IP they
are provided from their ISP, they purchase a LinkSys/DLink/Other Cable
Modem/DSL Router box, connect the modem to that and all computers to it as
well, thus their router box gets an external (Internet) IP while they
receive an IP from the router itself, but then the router "routes" them to
the outside world?

Hi there ..

Sorry about the confusion.

We have a single router (Netgear) at work and a number of
PC's connected to it. This means we only have one IP
address.

There are two PC's with XP on it and we are wanting to
connect to them but specily which PC we want to connect
to at the time. We will be connecting from our homes
using adsl that are two different IP address's.

Is there a way that we can specify the Port to connection
through instead of using Port 3389.

Hope this clear things up for you.

Thanks
Gazz
(Just trying to understand) ;-)
