Remote desktop connection

Hey wassup
Ive tried to log into a remote computer, it successfully brings the
login screen but under the option of log on to it doesnt give me the
name of the computer i want to log on to instead it gives me the name
of the computer that im currently using what could be the problem?

If your Remote Desktop host is connected to a domain
then you get three boxes when logging on:
1. Account name
2. Password
3. Domain name

If the host is not connected to a domain then you get
two boxes:
1. Account name
2. Password

Now where exactly did you say your own computer's name
appears? And what happens when you enter your logon
name and password?
