I would like to know how to use Remote Desktop Connection from a windows XP
Home edition to Home edition computer.

Tell us exactly what you are trying to do - your end goal. You cannot
use Remote Desktop without having XP Pro on the computer that will be
the host - the computer on which the files/programs are which you want
to access remotely. See this MS article for more details:

You could use third-party software such as UltraVNC instead:
http://www.ultravnc.com/

UltraVNC is free. A commercial program that does the same thing is
Symantec's pcAnywhere.
