Remote Desktop Client

I can ping the remote computer but can not attach using
remote desktop,, have used this in the past to my
terminal server with no problem, have 4 other computers
configured the same way with no problem. this computer
worked fine for months, I get a remote desktop
disconnected error, with a dialog box. I have checked all
of the setting, user id and password, I have entered the
same information on a seperate computer and have no
problem logging on.

I had the same problem, and it's tied to the user profile

on the pc. The only way I was able to get around it was
to recreate my user profile. (lots of work) Try logging
on the troubled pc as someone else to verify this.
