Remote connections to XP pro

I know that XP Pro limits remote connections to 10 but is
that any connections or just RPC? We are doing a training
class and wish to run XP Pro with some server software
and have the clients connect to it for training. Can we
have more that 10 connections using a client server app.

Not to the best of my knowledge, as XP Pro isn't designed to be used as a
server OS. I suggest you run either 2000 Server (discontinued) or .NET
Server 2003.
